TechBuilders Africa IMPACT is the empowerment and talent-development arm of TechBuilders Africa. It brings together technology leaders, professionals, creators, and ecosystem contributors to support emerging African talent through mentorship, shared learning, and collaborative initiatives.
Is TechBuilders Africa IMPACT — Dubai a summit?
No. TechBuilders Africa IMPACT is different from the TechBuilders Africa Summit. The Summit is the broader showcase and convening platform, while IMPACT focuses on empowerment, mentorship, learning, relationship-building, and supporting the next generation of African technology builders.
Who can apply for TechBuilders Africa IMPACT?
Students, beginners, career switchers, creators, professionals, founders, speakers, mentors, volunteers, coordinators, partners, and ecosystem contributors can apply based on their area of interest and intended role.
Is the event free to attend?
Yes. Applications and participation are free. However, participants may choose to purchase optional tools, software, subscriptions, or resources recommended during practical sessions if they find them useful.
Where will TechBuilders Africa IMPACT — Dubai take place?
TechBuilders Africa IMPACT — Dubai is planned to take place at Armada Hub in Dubai, UAE. Full arrival details will be shared with confirmed participants before the event.

Do participants need to bring a laptop?
Participants are encouraged to come with a laptop where possible, especially for practical labs, builder activities, and hands-on sessions. Applicants without a laptop can still apply.
